What I’m Working On

Silicon Tapeout — BIO Coprocessor

This is the big one. I’m neck-deep into a personal silicon tapeout project: a 2-core BIO coprocessor derived from the BIO/baochip-1x IP link, on GF180MCU through the wafer.space Run 2. I’m collaborating with bunnie Huang, who’s funding the slot.

Its a Hail-Mary attempt as the hard deadline for GDS is June 30. and I have just finished setting up the tools as on 9 april,2026.

This has been a long-term goal of mine — going from FPGA to actual silicon — and it’s finally happening. I mean I have worked previously on the tiny tapeout but just the rtl side.

Vicharak — ASIC/FPGA

By day, I’m ASIC/FPGA engineer at Vicharak, working on FPGA-based products. My main focus on a model agnostic ML accelerator design but most of it comes under NDA so.

Other then that I am maintainer and contributor for Shrike and Shrike-Lite boards (RP2040/RP2350 + FPGA). Recent work on porting it from RP2040 to ESP32 with dual-architecture support for Shrike-Fi , and writing documentation in MyST/Sphinx-design.

I also recently spent time debugging LPDDR4x memory interface issues on a TI180J484 FPGA board — the kind of deep hardware bring-up work I find most satisfying. Its working now.

Personal (but not much).

I have been trying to get my health in check (i would not say i am unhealthy but a bit underweight),manage by money better , get proper sleep and debating about should i buy a 3D printer or a oscilloscope.

Also keeping a goal is to make this web space , digital image of me.

I have came across a compilation of travel blog from the blogger around a world and i am going throught it when ever I can linked here.

Other then that I am solving puzzels from Puzzle-Ninja.
